do the collars with spikes for dogs work and make dogs stop pulling when going on a walk? also do they hurt ?
i have tryed a harness and we are going camping so i dont have time or the money to train him
They are called pinch or prong collars and yes they are incredibly effective. The problem is that you need to use it properly and have it fitted properly. They don’t actually dig into the skin the point is that it pinches the skin. It is a bit painful but keep in mind that dogs have more fur and skin around their necks to protect them then we do from being pinched. I use one and it works great for the pulling and for correcting other behaviors.
