Anyone ever painted their doggy’s nails?

I just found quick drying dog nail polish online. First I laughed…. “who would paint their dog’s nails?” hahahahaha… then I thought about how cute my little min pin would look with pink nails to match her pink spike studded collar!!! Anyone ever done this before? My concern would be the safety of doing this…. any ideas? Also… any pictures or products you recommend? Do you think it’s mean?
My littlest dog is a Miniature Pinscher…… I also have a Jack Russell Terrier…. I believe that min pins are a mix of a German Pinscher and a Dachsund… I believe there is something else in there too. They basically look like a toy version of a Doberman Pinscher although they are not mini Doberman’s …. I saw a newspaper article the other day on doggie beauty spas. There they had workout stuff and it was like something for humans. They showed dogs having their nails painted all sorts of colours. So yes it is done.

I see you refer to your puppy as a minpin often. Please tell me what that is a combination of? I just cannot figure out what it might be.

I don’t think it is mean, no one is being hurt. But I do think it is indicative of a society that tends to go overboard with things. I do, however, still have a sense of humour about it.

I might have done it to my old english sheepdog once in awhile when she was alive, but, fortunately for her, LOL, she now lives in that great dog energy of the universe and missed her chance!
