Leather Dog Collars Harnesses
What is the purpose of a spiked harness like this? Isn’t this too much?
Spiked leather collars, I can understand how they can look nice on some dogs.
But spiked harnesses? Is there a legitimate purpose for these? Definitely not for the dog park!

A dog obedience trainer I knew used to recommend spiked collars for people with multiple dogs, if one dog was getting beat up on, or if the others played too rough with him/her. The spiked collars made the other dogs ease up and back off with they bit into it. So that’s one explanation.
I could see the harness used for that reason, especially at a dog park. We finally stopped going to our favorite park, because there were too many aggressive dogs there. I would have put a spiked harness on our Shepherd, because he was arthritic and unable to defend himself.
