Big dog owners- what do you look for in a collar?

I make custom tooled leather collars mainly for large dogs (it’s hard to tool leather less than an inch wide). What would you like to see on the perfect collar for your dog? Even ideas for tooled characters would be helpful. Basically, if you could design the PERFECT collar for your dog, what would it look like?
For example- my dog’s collar.

For safety, I look for solid brass fittings, with the D ring anchored on the inside of the collar, as opposed to tacked on the outside with an added strip. For dogs over 65lb, I would love to see an extra heavyweight, or doubled leather collar, to protect against breakage. Don’t know if it would work, but what about a nice leather collar with a layer of nylon on the inside for strength? I think the sky is the limit on design, pretty much anything that is different or unusual will sell!
