Leather Dog Collar Handle
Puppy leads and collars?
We have a 4month old border collie who pulls lots on her lead. At the minute we have a half check collar and a medium chain lead with a leather handle…obviously for larger, stronger breeds. We have began puppy training classes, but it consists largely of older dogs up to the age of 8 months! (Odd I know for puppy training). Anyway, we’re looking for a suitable – or the one needed – lead and collar so we can control her easily around all sized dogs, and during the training classes, and ultimately, during walks. We’ve been advised that what we’re currently using is not the best for the puppy, any suggestions to help us?
Again, we know NOW that what we’re using is not appropriate so please don’t mention that, all I’m looking for is your advice and suggestions on what would be beneficial.
ALL pups have lousy transmissions,clutches & steering.
A plain nylon collar & 6 ft. lead is fine for any pup.
