i want to find cheap crystal rhinestones for a dog collar project?

i want to get my chihuahuas really nice crystal collars but they are expensive even on e bay, so ive been looking into doing it myself. i am very good at crafts and ive seen sew on crystals and rhinestone chains sold by the yard.and id like to know of a place i can get the materials for cheap?i have been looking at craft stores but id like recommendation for a good cheap discounted place to get my crystals from. im looking to sew them on instead of gluing them so they last longer.

maybe someone has some left over ones on ebay since they sell them by the yard you should try it
