E-Collars for small dogs?

I own a 9 lb mini dachshund who is in need of an electronic training collar. Is there anybody out there who has found one that fits a small neck & lasts more than a few months?
None of you know me or my dog or the reason for the e-collar; so to assume that I will be abusing my dog with any kind of collar is stupid on your part.

Thank you to the few who offered up what I was looking for without the need to rant and rave.

This exemplifies exactly what is wrong with the common perception of e-collar training.

“so bad” has absolutely nothing to do with why we use an e-collar. The only reason that we collar train is because the dog is being worked to far away from us to make the correction in a conventional manor. The e-collar is nothing but a normal collar with a very long leash attached (1/2 mile long or more). If anyone wants to run a mile every time there is a need to “pop” the lead, be my guest. With that in mind, you either collar train, or you don’t. This means that if you intend to use the e-collar for anything, you use it for everything.
The only reason for wanting an e-collar for a Dachshund would be for remote earth dog training, and there simply isn’t enough of a market for a collar company to develop a collar for that. This means that any collar would have to be an adaptation of an existing one. The strap on my tri-Tronics collar would fit, but the receiver would be to large for a mini. Dogtra is probably your only choice.
