electronic training collars?

well any kind of training collar. I have 5 dogs 4 of which come back to me except one. We have tried everything, putting her on a long lead, rewarding her when she comes but she is a pit mix and as friendly as she is some people are scared of her. We can’t let her out of our fenced in are although sometimes she does slip out. We just want something to train her with, something different that might work. I’m not sure what else to try. I’m sure some people are against shock collars but I’m at ther end of my rope. I don’t want her to spend the rest of her life fenced in or on a lead all the time. I’m just looking for advice on the use of remote electronic training collars and any advice you could give. Thanks!

Many pet stores and outdoors stores have training sessions on proper use of an electronic collar. I use one for one of my dogs, and it has helped tremendously! I suggest getting one with a beeper, and vibration, and shock settings. The beeper or vibration alone can help bring a dog’s attention back to you and the command you have given. I wouldn’t recommend one without learning from a professional first-I have seen many dogs “ruined” by a stupid owner who doesn’t have a clue on how they should be used.
