Electric Dog Collars For Barking
I will start using electric shock collar on my dog from tomorrow onwards. is that okay?
My 2 year old dog is very hyper and restless, especially in the night. His barking disturbs sleep. So i buy an e-shock collar for him, to keep him quiet and well behaved in the night. What is your opinion about this?
the collar will deliver mild shocks on neck, that do not do any harm to the dog but make the dog well behaved and calm.
My opinion is that your dog’s boredom will just manifest in other ways. Your dog is BORED. Take him for a nice long walk before bed. Ten to one if you exercise him more he will not be a problem at night.
All the e collar will do it teach him to find another way to vent his boredom such as finding anything and everything to chew on. E collars should be a route of last resort and since you have said absolutely nothing about his exercise or training more than likely the problem is you and not him.
