Electric dog collars?

some people told me there are electric dog collars out there for sell or is there another name for those i dont know…but anyway the trick is when a dog wears those and when the dog barks, the animal will get a electric shock because of the device on the collar…just wondering is it legall to sell those in the uk and north america?
i think its just like a little punishment for the dogs know what i mean,its like if your boy wanks at neighbor’s daughter,what your suppose to do,your gonna give hime a slap in the face…dont spoil your pet,beside i think if you send your dog to the hospital to get their cocks cut off and make the animal a gay dog because you dont want them to reproduce, now thats bloody cruel know what i mean…

They are legal in North America. Like ALL training devices, when used properly, they are not cruel. The TV remote CANNOT make the collar go off and kill the dog – nice urban legend, though.

Go to your local pet store, and ask about them. Then find a trainer to help you learn how to use it correctly.

Add: “it’s natural for a dog to bark”. It is also natural for a dog to reproduce, yet we spay and neuter. It is natural for a dog to run around, yet we have leash laws, fences and kennels. It is natural for a dog to chew, yet we do not let it chew the furniture, our shoes, etc. So what is the difference here?
