Are shock collars for dogs, illegal in Canada?

Hey, I was thinking of getting a shock collar for my dog. I'm thinking it is cruel to do, but I want you living with a dog that is always barking 24 / 7. Thanks! A uhm, liligirl, shock collars are the animals that idiot. not for people.

Shock collars can not hurt the dog … where they fear to prevent them from barking and learning … Tho it doesn't hurt … I think if your dog barks a lot you should get one, because you need to learn so that kept barking and not to harm them [=
