Dogs stitches look like theyre getting infected… What to do?

My dog had a growth removed on his front elbow thursday and had several stitches to stitch it up. This morning he scratched it and drew blood. Since then its been pussing white stuff and is a little red (not to red, but a decent amount of puss). We have his back paw wrapped in a sock to keep from scratching and an e-collar to keep from licking, but will the wound heal on its own? It doesnt look like any stitches are broke, but it might be slightly infected… Should we let it heal on its own or try to find a vet tomorrow? What will the vet do anyway?
Also, we can try to clean it but it just makes him try to mess with it so we have been leaving it…

call your vet and give him the info you gave on here…he probably will have you bring him in to be put on antibiotics….
