My dog won’t stop chasing our donkey’s!!?

I have a 2 year old sheltie named Monkey. She chases our donkey’s off only when we’re around. We tried a low shock collar but it didn’t work. We can’t get a fence because she’s a medium sized dog. When we shout NO!! a couple of times she stops for a second. What should I do?!?

Your dog only chases the donkeys when your around? From what I understand it’s a jealosy issue. Try and make her lay down and remain calm while your near the donkeys, don’t talk to her while she’s excited or whatever you say will mean “be excited!” to her. when she is calm and obaying you then you can pet her and talk to her and give her love. Remember that while doing that to remain calm.
