how do i protect my dogs neck from getting hurt if bit by another dog?

My dog sometimes gets into scrapes with other dogs when i take her out and they sometimes go for her neck. i always keep her on a leash but dogs come up to her wanting to play and she doesnt and sometimes it gets physical. i use a spiked dog collar but its to thin and doesnt cover her whole neck. is there any website that sells collars that cover most if not all the dogs neck? thanks

I don’t know if it is still done but in villages Himalayas where there is a problem of leopards people tie a steel belt with barbs on it, something you would expect a movie villain to use, so that the leopards couldn’t bite the throat. ( I read it in Jim Corbet’s Book). You could try similar thing and keep a stick with you to ward off other dogs.
