Please help with lost cat!!!?
Ok, so I was taking my dog out to pee, and I heard a meowing. Turns out it was a cat, one I hadn’t seen before. I put my dog back in the house and the cat came out..and went to my front porch. I called Animal Control and they said to come up and they’ll give me a cat trap..so I called my grandma (Mom is driving my brother to college today, im alone) and she said no..and that its probably just a wandering cat.
But I havn’t seen a wandering cat that stays at your door meowing before. And it dosn’t have a leash, collar, or anything.
What should I do?? D:
I took a ton of pictures a few minutes ago, I’m gonna try to make a flyer..
I’ve never seen that cat wandering around. There’s only 3 wandering cats in our neighborhood. Well, if its still there tomorrow, I’ll MAKE my mom go get a cat trap.
Yeah, I would go through the newspapers, internet ads and see if anyone posted something about a lost cat. If you don’t find anything then animal control should take care of it. Its good to post things like “Found Cat” but most of the times the cat will never be accounted for and you’ll be stuck with it. It depends on how much time you have and how much patience you have for the cat. I adopted a baby cat that the mother actually left on my front porch when I was leaving for school and she was only about a week old. Even though I never met the kitten’s mom, I guess she somehow knew that I’d take care of her kitten.
