spiked dog training collar?

i have a 5 1/2 month old pitbull pointer mix hes about 43 pounds.we bought him one of thise spiked collars…but i still feel its wrong…i dunno what do you think

If used correctly it will be fine. It only tightens when the dog pulls and it will release as soon as there is slack in the line. Do not tie the dog up with it or let the dog roam free. It will train the dog faster with less nagging.
