GPS pet tracking devices?

I want to get a new puppy, but I’m scared I’ll lose him. Is there a way to get a GPS chip implanted so that I get go online, view a map, and see where he is in real time? I know that you can get something of that sort on a collar right? But once somebody stole my dog and discarded the collars. Any info helps! PS: I’m not asking about the microchips that are common where you scan them once at the vet, because if he’s lost or stollen, he probably won’t get to the vet.

I do not think there is the other day I spent a lot of time surfing the net trying to find something other then the collar ones. We have a 16 week old Siberian Husky and people around us steal dogs and im afraid if she gets out of the yard like huskies are known to do she will be stolen and sold or something. So she has to be on a tie out in our back yard even though we have an 8fl fence. If you find something please let me know and I will do the same!
