Help! My dog dug up my new baby blueberry bush I just planted yesterday!!!!!!?

I just planted two baby Blueberry bushes and a baby Raspberry bush in my backyard yesterday.

This morning when I woke up I made my boyfriend breakfast and he went to work, so I go and look out my bedroom window to take a look at my garden and OMG I was SO FURIOUS, one of the blueberry bushes was dug up ALL the way out of the ground just laying there in the dirt, my dog some how managed to dig out ALL the dirt from the hole. He chewed off one of the long baby branches. All my hard work!!!!

I was thinking about stacking bricks around it to fence it off but he can jump fences he’s a Husky Shepherd mix. In the past I tryed a the shocking collar on him and it only made him mad and he destroyed the whole backyard.

What am I going to do?

How the do I keep him out of my garden?

Thank you everyone.

good news- the blueberry bush will be fine as long as you replant it soon and keep the soil moist. But on to the dog-deterring. Any hardware store sells dog repellent for gardens and yard areas that you want them out of. It is usually just black-pepper based granules. but it is sure to do the trick. Pepper burns the dog’s nose (acute sense of smell) and they just steer clear of the areas treated with the granules. Just sprinkle them on the ground around your plant. It’s pretty cheap too. p.s.—the label should say to avoid applying the product directly to the plant. if you are unable to find this product, actual pepper powder such as cayenne or black will work as well, but it is more dangerous to plants if it touches them. in this case you would make a large circle of pepper on the ground around the plant a few feet away
