Can shock collars or noise collars hurt my dog? Humane or not?

My 11 month old lab keeps jumping and barking at times uncontrolably. Hes been thru puppy and intermediate classes at PetSmart already and did well. Help…

well i saw a video on America’s Funniest and it had some guy testing out the different shock levels…

at first he was all right but towards the end it it hurt him so much that he was grabbing the collar and flopping around the whole place…just don’t be too hard on your dog!
