Dog Collar Leash In One
My dog is going crazy b/c of its leash/collar?
well my dog is about 4 months old and i never had a leash around her
so today i bought her one to walk with her so she can stay in place and she goes crazy!
how can i make her get to use it or what..?
You need to leave the leash out where she can see it for a little while so that she gets used to it even being there.
Then, clip it onto her collar and let her walk around the house for about 30 minutes, then remove it. Progressively lengthen the amount of time the leash is on and then slowly follow the dog around, loosely holding the leash. *Do this over several DAYS*
Then, try it in the backyard and see how she does.
If the dog still freaks out, you’ll probably want to see professional help or maybe talk to your vet about anti-anxiety medication if training simply doesn’t take.
