We have a chow/shephard mix that snaps at our small dog, we are getting a crate and training collar for her?

We will use crate for sleeping for big dog and the collar to remind her to stay away from small dog. Any thoughts or other suggestions. Giving up either dog is NOT an option.

Do a little research , the Chow bread is not known for being too bright. They need constant attention. You have a problem one smart breed shephard I hope the aggressiveness of the shephard can be controlled.
