Citronella Dog Collar Barking
Have you used a citronella collar to stop your dog barking?
My dog doesn’t bark much but sometimes when she is really excited it is so annoying. I just wondered if any of you have used this?

This is not a physical thing, it just sprays a blast of citronella scented water towards the dogs face when the microphone detects your dog barking.

You have obviously never trained a high energy agility dog. I have trained my dogs really well, both in obedience and agility, the only time she barks is when she is excited to go in the show ring. I have been training dogs for 20+ years and know that touching the dogs neck and saying ‘No’ will not work in this situation.
I’ve used per instructor of obedience class it won’t hurt them but it doesn’t work either it may work on some but didn’t work on mine.
