Is human cereal put in dog food?

My dad wanted to feed my new cockapoo puppy some cereal and I said no, I don’t know if its ok with this kind to feed him that. So he said, “Of course it’s ok! Cereal is put in dog food!” So I said no and he said if I’m right, I get $5.00. So I can’t really find the answer on the internet anywhere! Plz help me!!!! (That money is going to a new collar with bells all over it for my puppy. I gotta go to petsmart to buy that as a christmas present to him but I need cash.)

No, they don’t put human cereal in dog food. Low-grade dog food contains a lot of corn, though, as does human cereal. That’s pretty much where the similarity ends, and since dogs cannot digest corn then feeding her human cereal is like either feeding her Styrofoam or, if it’s sweetened, just plain sugar.
