Why is my 3 month old puppy is whining while chew on his toys?
My dog has regular nylon toys and he chews on them none stop…and he trys to naw on me too!! also he chews on his leash when I walk him? Is he teathing or what !?!?
At his age teething is very likely the reason as his baby teeth are giving way to adult teeth. Whining is common as his gums are sensitive and sore. You can always open his mouth and check his teeth to see if the adults are coming in. If they are fully in and you see no other reason for the whining you can always consult your vet for reasons behind it. He could have a bad tooth. Chewing the leash while walking is a play tactic and if not trained out of it he can continue to do that once he has passed his teething stage. When he knaws on you or something you dont want be sure you give him the command for NO. if not that can turn into a very unpleasent behavioral problem later in life.
