i live in PA and My dog is 7 years old. I didnt get her until she was 5. The previous owner had alot of land and Emmy was able to run and not be on a leash. Now she will not go to the bathroom on a leash. I dont have alot of land and she has went to the bathroom in the neighbors yard a couple times. They mentioned it to me and I have been making sure she doesnt go over there anymore. I no longer leave her out alone.When shes out, Im tagging behind her. Today they came and literally threw poop at my brother in law blaming my dog. They say their going to call the dog catcher. What kind of proof would they need to have her picked up? As far as i see it..it would end up their word against mine. And does a dog have to be on a leash if they are on your porch laying and your right there with them?
It is not stil happening. Im with her the entire time shes out now. I just moved her so no my yard isnt fenced yet.
So you are telling me that in the two years of having her you never thought to FENCE IN YOUR YARD?
Talk about the obvious answer to your “problem”.
I feel sorry for a dog who went from a large piece of land to not having a yard to even run in.
They can call the dogcatcher, and who knows, they may have video of your dog loose. I think that would be enough to get her picked up.
